Marking by printing on polycarbonate / lexan
Printing on polycarbonate is an ideal marking technique for all elements regularly subjected to physical or thermal shocks. Highly resistant to fire, corrosive liquids or other chemicals, polycarbonate is therefore generally chosen for objects in the security, building and construction sectors, and in particular for the manufacture of industrial labels and front panels for electronic controls. Material characteristics
- Subjects transparent, very shock resistant, almost unbreakable
- Using theprinting on polycarbonate inside and outside
- Good resistance to fire and detergents
- Thicknesses: from 1 mm to 5 mm (depending on reference)
- Appearance: smooth (glossy) or grained (matte)
- Additional features: Anti-UV, anti-reflective
Marking techniques
Printing on polycarbonate offers the possibility of high-color marking, identical or different on each plate. For better protection of theprinting on polycarbonate or, lexan, it is possible to print on the reverse side. The technique printing digital or screen printing on polycarbonate is selected according to the marking to be carried out, your usage and aesthetic constraints:
- Digital printing, for four-color marking, possibility of producing a support white
- Screen printing, for prints, from 1 to 4 different colors
