Pipe marking: labels, stickers and rigid plates
This determines a color code based on the fluid to be identified. Eight major families of fluids are identified by different background colors according to the regulations AFNOR : air, steam, gas, water, acids and bases, oils, other liquids and fire fluids.
The codification of the benchmarks of pipe marking can also be detailed by different colored rings indicating the fluid type or even its state (hot, cold, under pressure, etc.).
Stickers usually come with a directional arrow at each end to let you indicate the direction of liquid flow.
