The website Marquage Moderne has moved to a secure version: HTTPS!
You probably haven't noticed, but there's a small difference when you visit our website. It's called green padlock present in the address bar of your browser.
What is HTTPS?
HTTPS is short for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. It's a computer protocol which ensures the transfer of data between the browser and the website. To recognize a secure site, you just need to refer to the address bar of your browser: the "S" following HTTP means that the protocol is secure and that your data is protected (when you provide information about your identity through forms for example or for online payments).
To switch to HTTPS, you need to obtain an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate which ensures:
Data confidentiality : it is impossible to usurp the information exchanged.
Integrity : it is impossible to fake the information exchanged.
Authentication : it allows you to ensure the identity of the website with which you communicate, thanks to the verification of official documents concerning the domain name of the site and the company that owns it.
So, Marquage Moderne takes another step towards its commitments for the privacy and computer security, a guarantee of seriousness for the comfort of its Internet users.
Good navigation !
