New data protection regulations.

Last May, we saw 4 letters go viral on the web: GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This new European regulations came into force on May 25 last. It is aimed at any organization or company that processes or stores personal data.

Your “explicit” consent is required.

We therefore wish to be completely transparent with you about the use made of the personal data that you entrust to us. Our customers' data, prospects and Internet users are used only internally, for the purposes of our professional relationship with you. For example, we provide you with the latest company information through our quarterly newsletter or e-mailing by using your e-mail address. However, we remind you that you can at any time, unsubscribe (by clicking on this link), if you no longer wish to receive them but also access your information and modify on simple request.

What are the main measures of the GDPR?

The GDPR aims to strengthen and standardize legislation in terms of data protection within the European Union. It aims to protect the rights of individuals against unwanted and potentially malicious manipulation of their data.

More rights: any entity responsible for data processing must take measures to ensure a respectful use private data of the persons concerned.
These have the right toaccess and modification of this data, But also erasure, portability and the refusal of profiling related to their treatments.

More security: Companies have an obligation to implement protective measures for secure data for which they are responsible and notify any flaw, for example if sensitive data is stolen in the event of a cyberattack.

More sanctions: the CNIL now has the possibility of issuing heavier financial sanctions, to be more of a deterrent.
