Our guarantees: quality, durability, compliance
At Marquage ModerneNo compromise on quality and compliance. Our technical panels are designed to resist UV rays, urban corrosion, and meet the regulatory requirements of Public Access Buildings (ERP).
What we guarantee:
-
Zero yellowing:
We exclusively machine cast PMMA, which is chemically stable for 10 years, unlike extruded Plexiglas which micro-cracks in the first winter. -
Zero corrosion:
For your facades, we require 316L stainless steel (Marine Grade), the only alloy capable of withstanding acid rain and saline environments without pitting. -
Full compliance:
Visual contrast, distinctive height, secure fixing to cladding or EWI… we don’t sell a sign, we sell bringing your reception area into compliance.
Technical comparison of signage materials
| Material (substrate) | Structural durability (material) | Marking technique | Marking resistance (information) | Aesthetics & finish |
|---|---|---|---|---|
|
316L stainless steel (1.4404) (marine grade) |
Extreme Unalterable > 30 years. Auto-passivation in the presence of oxygen. Resistant to chlorides and acids. |
Chemical etching + lacquer |
Total Ink protected by the sides of the metal (0.2mm cup). Indelible. |
Premium industrial Strong contrast, satin or glossy finish, Pantone colors respected. |
|
304L stainless steel (1.4307) (standard) |
High (indoor/urban) Risk of pitting corrosion (tea staining) at the seaside or in chlorinated environments. |
Annealed laser marking |
Excellent Structural modification (oxidation) without the addition of material. Smooth (aseptic) surface. |
Technical & understated Monochrome (black/grey). Variation in intensity depending on the viewing angle. |
|
Anodized aluminum (15-20 microns) |
Haute A layer of alumina (Al2O3) as hard as sapphire. Chemically inert (pH 4-9). |
Mechanical engraving |
Maximum Physical machining of the material. Readability through shading even without paint. |
Raw industrial Hollowed, tangible appearance. Rendered an indestructible “tool”. |
|
Cast PMMA (Altuglas® / Plexiglas®) |
Medium to high UV stable (10-year guarantee on transparency). Sensitive to aromatic solvents. |
UV printing window decals |
Protected The ink is printed on the back (lamination), visible through the paper. Zero direct abrasion. |
Design & Depth Glass-like shine, diamond-polished edges, visual depth. |
|
Watchmaking brass (CuZn39Pb3) |
Low (unprotected) Natural oxidation (verdigris). Requires a baked polyurethane varnish. |
Intaglio engraving + lacquer |
Very high Paint lodged in a deep recess. The weak point remains the adhesion of the protective varnish. |
Classic Prestige Warm gold reflection, “mirror” or “brushed”. Notary/legal signage. |
- The material determines durability.
- The marking technique determines the aesthetics and the resistance.
ERP compliance and accessibility
Is your company a public establishment (ERP)? Your entrance signage must meet specific legal requirements:
- Sufficient visual contrast between the text and the background
- Characters at least 15 mm high for readability at 1 meter
- Braille signage with embedded (stainless steel or acrylic) beads, compliant with disability law
Technical checklist for ordering
To guarantee accurate pricing and error-free production:
-
Check the mounting surface:
We provide a custom fixing kit, defined after validation of the actual mounting surface (concrete, irregular plaster, metal cladding, glass). -
Confirm your colors (Pantone/RAL):
A digital print (CMYK) does not reproduce the brilliance of a physical painting.
If your specifications require it, opt for chemical etching with lacquer filling. -
Provide Vector Graphics:
Logos in .AI, .EPS or .DXF format are required.
The .JPG file pixelates during burning.
